Hi there, I am looking for any suggestions on the temper tantrums that my 17 1/2 month old. I realize that all children go through this stage but I can't believe how bad it is and how hard it is to deal with. I have tried turning a blind eye to it. Give a 1 minute time out. Everything and nothing is working. I mean she spazes out for everything. Pulling her away from a dangerous situation or if she can't do something. I will say "Makaylah get down please" and she goes off the handle throwing things, screaming loud enough she could shatter glass. HELP. Any suggestions would be great. Shocked Confused

If your temper is losing on it, do not make them feel that you are really irritated because sometimes they just love the reaction from you. Sometimes they just need so much attention that through throwing tantrums they could gain something. Just be calm in scolding your baby.
